The Foamy Factory Mini Series planes are all out 3D freestyle machines, with wingspans of 33" and an AUW as low as 6.0oz., the Mini Series planes feel like they're floating on the sticks. Knife edge loops, harriers, elevators are all a breeze. Snap rolls are blindingly fast and flat spins wind up like a top.  Lock the plane into a hover and then torque roll and it will groove there until your pack gives out. 

Keep them light by using lightweight components, and you will have an indoor 3D Freestyle plane that will "knock your socks off"  Build them a little heavier, or use a larger capacity battery, and you'll have an awesome light wind outdoor flyer.

New Kevlar Truss Bracing System

One of the main disadvantages of building a profile airframe from Depron is the lack of torsional strength in the tail area.  “Tail Twist” as it’s commonly known, has plagued these types of models for as long as they have been around.  While the bracing system used here is not a new idea, we have taken the guesswork out and created a “Goof Proof” method of construction that takes the mystery and difficulty out of “trussing”.  The Kevlar truss bracing system now included in the FFM Mini Series kits adds tremendous rigidity to the completed model and almost eliminates the dreaded “Tail Twist”.  The Kevlar adds almost no weight and provides an incredible amount of stiffness to the airframe.  This creates a plane that is very precise, crisp, and true.  You will notice a big difference in how the plane “feels” as compared to others of the same type.  The Kevlar eliminates almost all of the airframe bending associated with the Depron construction and allows maneuvers to be executed with extreme precision and smoothness.

The Mini series planes will fly on any Shockflier type setup, and are much more stable in all maneuvers. Designed to be extreme “all out” 3D machines, these plane really rock!

All kits are precision cut by CNC Router, so none of the edges are crushed enabling very good glue joints.  Decals are included in the kits so you can have a quick and easy color scheme, or leave off the decals and let your imagination run wild with your own ideas.
